Blogger's Quilt Festival!

I am excited for my first entry in Amy's amazing Quilt Festival. If you came here via the festival, welcome!

My favorite quilt that I have made is my triangle quilt. I came up with the idea while I was piecing my string quilt and realizing I'd have lots of strips left over. I love the look of wonky squares and thought wonky triangles would be just as fun! I used only scraps and the white is from a bed sheet. This quilt resides on the back of the sofa so I get to see it every day.

More scraps in a flying geese pattern and the rest of the white sheet on the back. The binding is seaweed stripe from Alexander Henry-I love striped bindings!

My mom is in the process of making her own version of my triangle quilt in blues. I'll have to share pictures of her quilt when she's finished.

Now I'm off to check out all the wonderful quilts in the Blogger's Quilt Festival
Thanks for stopping by!
